Already have a specific worker in mind? If you have a particular worker whose name and passport number you know — she worked for one of your relatives, or previously worked in the Kingdom and returned home — recruiting her is done through the "Maaroufa" service on the Musaned platform: a different track with prices set by the Ministry and special conditions.
The price shown on each worker's card includes:
Government fees — such as the visa fee, the Musaned platform commission, residency (iqama) fees, and health insurance — are paid separately according to the approved tariff.
The regulations grant the employer a trial period of no more than 90 days, during which he verifies the worker's professional competence and good conduct, and either party has the right to terminate the contract during it — Article 9 of the Domestic Labour Regulations published on the Musaned platform.
Wafd's guarantee is three months from the worker's arrival date, matching the statutory trial period. Each case is studied individually to determine the appropriate action, and our team is available during the guarantee period to discuss the available options.
We also provide supervisors and interpreters to ease communication with the worker at the start of the work period, and a customer service team to follow up on any concerns.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development sets a list of countries from which recruitment is allowed, updated periodically through the Musaned platform. At Wafd, we provide recruitment from five nationalities: the Philippines, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, and Bangladesh, in addition to drivers from India.
There is no absolutely best nationality — the choice depends on your family's needs. If English communication with children is a priority, Filipino or Kenyan workers are more suitable. If speed of arrival matters most, Ethiopian workers arrive within 20 days. If you prefer a Muslim worker, options are available from the Philippines, Uganda, and Bangladesh. Practically, the best approach is to review each worker's CV and prior experience individually.
Recruitment is done exclusively through the Musaned platform of the Ministry of Human Resources, and the procedures cannot be completed without contracting a licensed recruitment office. The platform connects you with the office, documents the contract, and protects your rights and the worker's rights. Any contract outside the platform does not guarantee a refund of fees nor legally protect any party.
A worker's CV is a file showing her full details: name, age, nationality, religion, marital status, the languages she speaks, years of experience, the countries she has worked in, and her skills in cooking and in childcare and elderly care. Reviewing the CV lets you choose the right worker before starting the procedures, and all the CVs shown on this page are for workers who are actually available.
A Filipino worker's salary starts from SAR 1,500 per month, the highest among the available nationalities given her command of English and her level of experience. The salary is set in the contract documented through the Musaned platform and is paid by bank transfer.
Yes, recruitment from the Philippines is currently available, and it is one of the most in-demand nationalities in the Kingdom. Recruitment from it is subject to a bilateral agreement between the two countries that regulates the contract terms and the worker's rights, which is why the arrival time is relatively longer, starting from 45 days.
It is the fee for issuing the domestic worker visa, paid to the Ministry of Human Resources through the Musaned platform. It is a government fee entirely separate from the cost of the recruitment service itself. Added to it are the Musaned platform commission, residency (iqama) fees, and health insurance according to the approved tariff.
Yes, Muslim workers are available from the Philippines and Uganda, in addition to Bangladeshi workers. You can specify the religion within the search criteria when reviewing the CVs.
The CVs shown here are for workers we provide, and recruiting them includes a 3-month guarantee. The "Maaroufa" service, by contrast, is a track on the Musaned platform for those who already have a specific worker whose name and passport number they know, at prices set by the Ministry and available for only four nationalities; it is not covered by the office's guarantee because the selection is made by the employer.
Wafd's guarantee is 3 months from the worker's arrival date, matching the trial period set by the Domestic Labour Regulations at no more than 90 days, during which the employer verifies professional competence and good conduct. Each case is studied individually during this period to determine the appropriate action.
At Wafd, we provide domestic worker recruitment with 18 years of experience and more than 18,000 completed requests for over 10,000 clients, with a rating of 4.2 out of 5 on Google Maps and 4 out of 5 on the Musaned platform.
